Initial designs for a full renovation of an old post office into a family dwelling in London. The designs utilise and express the fabric and history of the existing building and the interior design and features aim to bring a sense of drama and domestic scale to it.

A Touch of Yellow


‘A touch of yellow’ adds a sense of playfulness and light to this refurbishment. The structural steels are painted yellow and exposed along with the brick work which gives a softer offset touch. The chosen art matches with the colour scheme and the rest of the material palette has been kept bright allowing light to bounce through the deep space. The pendant lights are set into the new vaulted ceiling at varying levels to add interest from a lighting a visual perspective.
